Worcester-based classic rock and blues band The Silverbacks play Thursday night, July 24 at Pappas Recreation Complex.

The band is comprised of Jim Perry (who also features in the band 9teen, which plays Pappas on August 7th), Mike Lynch, Deric Dyer, Glenn DiTomasso, Cliff Goodwin, and Bill MacGillivray.  Known for their harmonies and fresh arrangements of classic rock favorites, The Silverbacks also mix in some blues and R&B to keep their sets moving.

These musicians have performed extensively with a number of Worcester’s most popular bands, and most have experience on the world stage as well.  Their resumes boast performances and tours with the likes of Joe Cocker, Mitch Chakour and Tina Turner, to name just a few.

The show begins tonight at 6pm and is free as always.  The rain date is Tuesday, July 29 at 6pm at Pappas.
