Auburn Rocket Race for AYFS – 10k/5k/1k Fun Run
The second annual Rocket Road Race to benefit Auburn Youth and Family Services will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2014. The Rocket Race includes a a 10k/5k and 1k Fun Run at Auburn High School, 99 Auburn St, Auburn, MA 01501.
Last year’s inaugural race was a tremendous success with 193 runners, and organizers expect this year to grow significantly. The 2013 event raised over $4,000 for AYFS thanks to the runners, vendors, sponsors and over 90 volunteers.
Events kick off at 8:30am with registration and vendor booths. The races will begin promptly at 10am.
Registration is $30 for adults (11+), $5 plus a canned good for kids 10 and under. Registration is currently open online at RaceWire.
There will be music, vendor booths, snacks, a bounce house, games, door prizes, and a guest appearance by FINZ from the Worcester Sharks. Timing is provided by RaceWire for real-time results, and walkers are welcome. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled, healthy day.
