Whether your child is an athlete, a musician, an artist, a singer, an achieving student, or a combination of these. You will have something to do this week. The Auburn Public Schools have five events starting tonight with the Tri 2 Art Show.

At the end of each trimester, Visual Arts Teacher Amanda Halsdorff puts up a display in the cafeteria of her students graded projects. A full spectrum of mediums will be shown, and this is a fun event.

While in the building, you will have an opportunity to wander up to the second floor where the Big Mug is on display outside the art room. This massive sculpture is the work of Worcester artist Sarah Williams and is on display courtesy of an Auburn Cultural Council grant.

More information of the Big Mug, its creation, and the artist will appear in an upcoming edition of Auburn Mass Daily. Here’s the rest of the lineup.
