New Orleans Jazz & Louisiana Cajun Music

Pakachoag Music School faculty will be performing New Orleans Jazz & Louisiana Cajun Music on Sunday, February 23 at the Worcester Art Museum.deux amis

Faculty member, Elizabeth Bronstein, will be playing with partner, Sam, in honor of Black History Month as part of the Sunday Sermon Series at the Worcester Art Museum. 

Sam, a native of Louisiana (and, unrelated, a science professor at WPI), will speak about the African roots of these two unique American musical styles: New Orleans Jazz (cello and piano) and Louisiana Cajun Music (accordion and fiddle).

The event will be held in the WAM Renaissance Court, and is free with museum admission.
