Auburn Library Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Children’s Activities

Join Library staff as they view Valentine-themed books and listen to the stories as they read to the children. After listening to the stories (return as often as you like), register for your Literacy/Craft/Activity Packet. Once you have your packet, return to the video and watch Jarad demonstrate how to make your origami hearts.

Packet registration is open until Saturday February 12th at 1:00pm. Last packet pickup option is Monday February 14 at 2:00pm. Stories and origami demonstration will be available through Wednesday February 16th.

Log onto https://www.apl-stayconnected.org/ to access the stories and packet registration. *Registration is not required to listen to the stories – only to reserve a packet.

All materials are included | Packets include:

  • Literacy and coloring sheets
  • Customized Valentine booklets with activities and blank pages for drawing or writing your own
    notes
  • White bag with decorations for you to customize your Valentine’s day bag
  • Three colorful origami papers to make hearts *bubbles
  • 6 assorted Valentine’s day cards to color and design
  • 4-pack of crayons
  • heart-themed paper chain materials
  • Gifts from us: dinosaur or unicorn and a snap bracelet
