Auburn Fire Rescue was called to a structure fire in Oxford overnight. Engine 2 and Engine 3 responded to the 3 alarm blaze at 59 Millbury Rd. in Oxford at about 3am.  The property is close to the Auburn – Oxford line.

All of the residents were out of the home upon Oxford firefighters’ arrival.  The fire quickly went to three alarms as heavy fire and smoke were showing from the front of the building.  One resident is being treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries including burns to his hands.

The home appears to be a total loss.  No damage estimate was yet available from fire officials. The property is owned by Garrett Jones, according to town property records.
