AUBURN – State Representative Paul K. Frost (R-Auburn) is preparing to mail care packages to district residents who will be serving in the military away from home over the holidays, in a tradition he has extended since first taking office in 1997. For the 25th year, Frost is requesting to receive the names of service members from Auburn, Millbury, precincts 2 and 3 in Oxford, precinct 4 of Charlton, and precinct 3 of Leicester who will be stationed away from their families this season.
“As the end of another challenging year approaches, there are many brave men and women from our communities who will be celebrating the holidays apart from those they love,” said Representative Frost, “and I would like to continue to acknowledge the sacrifices they have made in order to protect our country and way of life with a small gesture of appreciation. A package of holiday cheer to remind those not be able to spend this time of year with us that they always remain in our thoughts and prayers.”
If any district residents have a loved one also from the district who is in the military and will not be home for the holidays, call Rep. Frost’s office at 617-722-2489 or send an email to email@example.com by Monday, December 6th to arrange for a care package to be sent to them. The packages will contain treats and holiday greeting messages; please be sure to include whether or not there are any food allergies when providing all the necessary mailing details.
