Federal ARPA funds allocated to the Town of Auburn will total $5,011,472. Funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024 and expended by December 31, 2026. The U.S. Department of Treasury has issued specific guidelines and regulations for the use of ARPA funds. Funding must fit into one of four statutory categories split into seven summary expenditure categories. Residents and businesses are encouraged to attend the public hearing to learn about ARPA and discuss the best use of these funds to benefit the Auburn community. The Town will create a page on its website, www.auburnguide.com, with additional information on ARPA.
