‘Room on the Broom’ – Storytime with children’s authors at Auburn Library

by | Oct 20, 2021

Join children’s book authors Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler as they read their story ‘Room on the Broom’, with sound effects, at the Auburn Library on Thursday, October 21.

Children will listen to the story, have a discussion about kindness and sharing and then decorate a broom, add the witch and her friends, and put streamers on the magic wand. To end the program, children will listen to another story about kindness and spiders.

The program is geared to children ages 2 years 10 months to 6 years old. Please be certain your child is comfortable with separating long enough to listen to a story and work on a craft. All adults must remain in the room during the program. Adults are welcome to participate with their child when making the craft. A seating/play area will be set up in the back of the room for adults and siblings.
