Overnight Paving Operations at Exit 94, (Route 146/Route 20)

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting paving operations at I-90 exit 94 (Route 146/Route 20) in Millbury. The work will require temporary closures of the on and off ramps for I-90 starting at 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, through 4:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 11.

Traffic impacts during the scheduled work time will be as follows:

The I-90 eastbound and westbound exit 94 on and off-ramps will be temporarily closed. Traffic looking to enter and exit I-90 eastbound and westbound at this location will be directed to follow a detour route that uses exit​s 90 and 96.
The Route 146 northbound and southbound exit 18 (I-90/Route 20) on and off-ramps will be temporarily closed. Traffic will be directed to follow the detour signage in place and use exit 17 or exit 19 to access Route 20/I-90.
Access to and from the Millbury Park and Ride Lot and the Tandem Trailer Lot at exit 94 will be temporarily closed. Users of both lots are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
