Auburn Library Offering Free Tomato Plants

The Auburn Public Library, in conjunction with the Auburn Cultural Council and Bemis Farms, is offering free tomato plants to area residents.

Register for your 10”- 12” free tomato plant. Choose your pickup time on the registration form. Varieties available include Better Boy, Early Girl and Jamestown, though the library cannot accommodate requests for varieties. Supplies are limited; please only one plant per household.

The program is geared for children 4+, and includes reading two stories, but this is not a children-only program. All households are welcome to register. All are welcome to log in.

Auburn and non-Auburn resident plant reservation links are available. Please be sure to register using the correct link. Households with children will also receive a literacy / activity packet(s) with the tomato plant pickup. A literacy packet is available for each child residing in your household; specify the number on the registration form
