AUBURN – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will implementing a temporary overnight closure of exit 90 (old exit 10) on Interstate 90 westbound in Auburn. The closure will take place from 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, through 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, and is needed to facilitate routine maintenance operations.
Traffic traveling on I-90 westbound will be directed to utilize exit 94 (old exit 10A) and follow the detour signage in place while the operations are taking place.
Message boards, signs, traffic control devices, and law enforcement details will be used to guide drivers safely through the work zone.
MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes, reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
