The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be implementing temporary overnight closures of the on-ramps from Route 9 westbound to Interstate 90 eastbound and westbound at exit 111 (old exit 12) in Framingham. The temporary closures will take place from 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, through 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23.
The on-ramp closures will allow crews to safely and efficiently conduct bridge repair operations on the Route 9 Bridge over Interstate 90. Traffic will be directed to follow the detour signage in place.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
