APS Special Olympics Polar Plunge Team Seeks Participants

by | Jan 17, 2021

The Auburn Public Schools has created a Polar Plunge team to raise money for Special Olympic Athletes. We would love for students and staff from the District to sign up or even members of the community to join our team.

Please use the following link to register…https://fundraise.specialolympicsma.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donordrive.team&teamID=5930

There are NO plunge locations this year due to social distancing, all you have to do is commit to getting wet somehow during the dedicated plunge week for APS, which will be sometime in February or March. You can dump water over your head, dunk in your tub, jump in a lake or a kiddie pool…OR if getting cold and soaking wet isn’t for you,  you can sign up as a “towel holder” and forget the plunge all together and just try to fundraise…

You don’t have to video it, but we would love it if you did! You can put it on your social media and tag APS (@AuburnSchools) and Special Olympics MA (@SpOlympicsMA).

So…Are you the kind of person who will get freezin’ for the right reason?  Join the Auburn Public Schools Polar Plunge Team!  If you don’t want to take your version of an ice cold plunge you can still support us by joining the team and raising  $100 by being a Towel Holder!

Whether you decide to take the plunge or donate, the link below is for both! Thank you for supporting Special Olympics and Auburn Public Schools!
