Victoria A. (Yakimovich) Kusy, 91, of Auburn, passed away peacefully Sunday December 13, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Worcester, Vicky was one of six children born to Walton and Sabina (Szabunia) Yakimovich. She was educated in Worcester graduating from Commerce High School. She met and fell in love with her husband and best friend of 55 years, Richard W. “Picky” Kusy, and the pair settled in Auburn to raise their family until Richard died in 2005.
Victoria’s passion was her family. She was always making sure that everyone around her was happy and having fun. She loved to dance and sing to all kinds of music. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and oil painting. Victoria also had a great time being at the beach and soaking up the sun by her pool.
She leaves her four children, Maureen Napieralski and her husband Paul of Oxford, Charlene L. Nobert of Oxford, Sharon Kusy and her partner Roger Holt of Branford, CT, and Richard G. Kusy and his wife Laura of Auburn; also survived by 6 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well and nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by five siblings and a son-in-law.
