AUBURN – State Representative Paul K. Frost (R-Auburn) is requesting the names of military servicemen and women from the towns in his district who will not be home for the holidays, as he prepares a shipment of care packages for a tradition he has carried out since first taking office in 1997. Frost is encouraging local families of Auburn, Millbury, precincts 2 and 3 in Oxford, and precinct 4 of Charlton to send his office information about their loved ones who will remain stationed away from home through the season’s end.
“This year has brought some unprecedented challenges we have come together as a community to face,” said Representative Frost, “but despite the ongoing global pandemic we must not fail to acknowledge the sacrifices of many brave men and women in service to our country, who cannot be with us now as they continue to protect our country and our way of life amid the uncertainty in the world today. For those abroad who will not be home to celebrate the holidays I wish to extend a small token of my appreciation, as I have over the past 23 years, to let them know they are always in our thoughts and prayers back at home.”
If any district residents have a loved one also from the district who is in the military and will not be home for the holidays, call Rep. Frost’s office at 617-722-2489 or email email@example.com by Monday, December 21st to arrange for a care package to be sent to them. The packages will contain treats and holiday greeting messages; please include whether or not there are any food allergies when providing all the necessary mailing details.
