Auburn Library Releases Strategic Plan for 2021- 2025

by | Sep 11, 2020

The following is a statement released by the Auburn Public Library

The Auburn Public Library Strategic Plan 2021- 2025 Fiscal Years is completed.  The Auburn Public Library Board of Trustees and the library staff thank all of you who helped us develop the Strategic Plan.  Because of your participation  in the Community Survey, Youth Survey and those who were able to participate in our phone interviews, we were able to build our plan for the next five years.  Your satisfaction with the library, your suggestions and hopes for the future have been captured in the 2021-2025 Fiscal Years Strategic Plan for the Auburn Public Library.  The reality of COVID-19 will have an impact on many of the goals established in the plan, but as resources allow, we will move forward.

We are thankful for those of you who were willing to join our Friends group on the Community Survey and hope that by this fall we will be able to have an in-person meeting.  Until then we will keep you updated on our progress toward reestablishing the Auburn Public Library Friends.  If you did not indicate an interest in the Friends at the time of the Community Survey, you can respond to this email and leave your contact information (email and cell phone).

The Strategic Plan with responses in the Appendices can be found here:
