Virtual “Meet the Selectman Candidates Forum” Tuesday

There will be a virtual Meet the Candidates forum on Tuesday, August 25 at 5pm via Zoom. Several of the candidates agreed to organize the event as door-to-door canvassing is frowned upon during the coronavirus pandemic.

There is a special election on September 1 to fill a full term and a 1 year unexpired term on the Board of Selectman. Early voting and mail-in voting for this election – which also serves as the state primary – is already underway.

Each candidate will have 5 minutes for an introductory statement. The three year candidates will speak first: Greg Bohling and Scott Wren (Wayne Page has declined to participate, and Dave DeLollis had not responded to the invitation as of press time, according to organizers). The one-year candidates will speak after: Steven Chambers, Tristan LaLiberte and Sara Rufli (Randall Lawrence had not responded to the invitation as of press time)
Following introductions, participants will be able to pose questions to the candidates.
