New Traffic Pattern for the Kelley Square Improvement Project

by | Aug 3, 2020

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that effective Monday, August 3, at 7:00 a.m., the newly constructed mini roundabout at Arwick Avenue will be implemented. The new roundabout will help facilitate the flow of traffic through the area following the construction of the Kelley Square hybrid roundabout and the reversal of Harding and Millbury Streets.

  • Southbound traffic will travel down Millbury Street, enter the roundabout, and continue towards the intersection of Cambridge Street and Quinsigamond Avenue. Northbound traffic will enter the mini roundabout, exit onto Arwick Avenue, and travel down Harding Street towards Kelley Square.
  • The section of Millbury Street between the mini roundabout and the Quinsigamond Avenue intersection will remain two-way.  (See graphic)
