All municipal buildings including the Town Hall, Library, Senior Center, and DPW are closed to the public, effective Monday, March 16, and until further notice. The staff in the town buildings will continue to work from their offices and are available by phone or email for any questions or assistance that you may need.
The Trash & Recycling service will continue to operate on a normal schedule.
Although the Senior Center is closed, the Meals on Wheels program will continue to operate.
Effective immediately, all Town playgrounds are closed and no permits will be issued for the use of Town fields or facilities. All Town sponsored recreation activities and programs are postponed, and the Pakachoag Golf Course is closed until further notice.
Today, a new drop-box was installed at the Town Hall so that residents and businesses can drop off any tax payments, permit applications, plans, and any other town related correspondence to our departments. The drop-box is located at the rear entrance at the Town Hall at the top of the handicapped ramp, next to the back door.
The Town Clerk reminds residents that the last day for candidates to file nomination papers for the Annual Town Election is Tuesday, March 31st at 5PM. Incumbent Town Meeting members last day to notify in writing if they wish to be on the ballot is Tuesday March 24th.
