Health Connector Members Need to Reenroll

BOSTON- Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) reminded constituents on the Massachusetts Health Connector to reenroll for health insurance, a requirement of the federal Affordable Care Act. To ensure continued health insurance coverage beginning January 1, 2014, Senator Moore advised constituents to reapply, reenroll and make a payment by Monday, December 23, 2013 to avoid the risk of losing their insurance coverage.

“Due to new federal requirements, all current Health Connector members must reenroll in order to prevent losing their coverage on January 1st,” stated Senator Moore. “It is important for members to reenroll to maintain good health and to ensure proper coverage in case of emergency.”

A member of the Massachusetts Health Connector can reapply for insurance coverage in one of these four ways:

  • Apply online at;
  • Call the Health Connector Customer Service at 1-877-MA-ENROLL (1-877-623-6765) and apply by phone;
  • Ask for a paper application by calling the Health Connector Customer Service; or,
  • Get in-person help from a Navigator or Certified Application Counselor at a local hospital or community health center. For a list of Navigators or Certified Application Counselors in a specific area, visit or call 1-877-MA-ENROLL.
