On February 3, 2020 Representative Paul K. Frost (R-Auburn) joined his colleagues in the House and Senate along with Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito for the annual Go Red for Women Event held at the State House. The event raises awareness of women’s number one health threat, cardiovascular disease.
Frost commented, “A frightening fact is cardiovascular disease takes more women’s lives than cancer and accidents combined. A woman dies every 80 seconds from heart disease. As a father of three daughters, a husband, a brother with one sister and fortunately as a son
with his mother still active and with us, I truly appreciate the efforts being promoted by this awareness campaign and fully support it.”
This event is sponsored by the American Heart Health Association as part of the National Wear Red Day. Please visit www.goredforwomen.org for more info.
