Auburn seeking school crossing guards

Auburn Public Schools currently has job opportunities available for Crossing Guards, for both permanent and substitute positions. The job would entail approximately 30 to 40 minutes in the morning and the same amount of time in the afternoon. The crossing guard supervises as students safely cross the street in designated areas.

Interested individuals should stop by the Superintendent’s Office at 5 West Street to complete an application, at which time they will need to provide their license to be copied as part of the application process. At the time of hire, a safety vest and stop sign will be provided by the Auburn School Department.

The current pay rate for crossing guards is $11.16 per half hour of time worked and the crossing guard becomes a part time employee for the Town of Auburn.
