Rockets pull away from Leominster for 5-2 win.

The Rockets baseball team trailed early, going down 2-0 in the top of the first inning. But senior pitcher Coleman Picard settled in to strike out 10 and keep the Blue Devils off the board the rest of the afternoon. Leominster pitcher Pat Gallagher struck out 11, but the Rockets managed to get to him for 2 runs in the third and 3 in the fourth to take a 5-2 they would never give up.

Ryan Lempicki was 3-4 with two RBI for AHS while Mike Breen tagged a double and a triple and also had two RBI. Auburn’s CJ Willis had two doubles and scored a run. The Rockets are now 4-3 on the season while Leominster dropped to 3-2.
