Bank of America Employees Participate in Local Build Project

by | Oct 19, 2018

In celebration of Bank of America’s fifth annual Habitat for Humanity Build, close to 2,400 employee volunteers will be participating in builds and revitalization projects in more than 100 communities across 7 countries. In Massachusetts, local employees volunteered across the state, holding six builds at five different Massachusetts H Habitat for Humanity affiliates from October 2-5.

For the past five years, Bank of America has teamed with Habitat for Humanity to support local communities and families. These builds are just a part of Bank of America’s broader $105,000 commitment to advance economic mobility in the Greater Boston area. In addition, Bank of America has provided financing for more than 110,000 first time homebuyers in 2017,
including 26,000 in low-to-moderate income communities.

Last week, Bank of America employee volunteers teamed up with Habitat for Humanity Metro West/Greater Worcester to help build a home for a family with who boys who are excited to have a backyard to practice soccer. [Submitted photo]
