Homecoming and fall festival at AHS this weekend

Auburn’s annual Homecoming and Fall Festival weekend is scheduled for Friday, September 28-Sunday, September 30 with a full calendar of games and activities for all.

On Friday, September 28 the Auburn Rockets football team will square off against Tantasqua at 7pm on Memorial Field in AHS’s annual homecoming game.

On Saturday, Homecoming weekend continues with a full slate of high school games and the annual Fall Festival festivities.

10:00am – Girls Soccer – Varsity (Memorial Field) and JV (Front Field)
12:0pm – Boys Soccer Varsity (Memorial Field) and JV (Front Field)
12:00pm – Field Hockey (All Purpose)
1:30pm – Junior Varsity Field Hockey (All Purpose)

Along the front of the high school and inside the building, the Fall Festival is back for its 12th year. From 9am to 4pm, there will be games, crafts, food, vendors, train rides and pumpkin decorating for visitors of all ages. Admission to the Fall Festival is free; there may be a charge for certain events and activities.

In addition, Auburn’s own Matt Benoit will be performing at 11am and 1pm. Fall Festival is sponsored by Lundgren Honda and The Home Depot.

On Sunday, September 30, there will be a breakfast at Auburn High School from 9am to 11am in the AHS cafeteria, as well as guided tours of the Auburn High School. Tickets are $5 adults and $3 kids under 8. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Homecoming and Fall Festival is a traditional community event and all are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
