by | Sep 4, 2018

The Massachusetts primary election will be on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Polls are open 7:00 am – 8:00 pm at the Auburn High School gymnasium, 99 Auburn Street.

Voters will be provided a primary ballot based on their party registration. For an ‘unenrolled’ registered voter, they will choose which party ballot to cast.  Voters may choose Democratic, Libertarian, or Republican.  The sample ballots can be found on the Auburn Town Clerk website at www.auburnguide.com.

Absentee ballots are available. You may vote by absentee ballot if you:

  • Will be absent from your city or town on election day, and/or
  • Have a physical disability that prevents your voting at the polling place, and/or
  • Cannot vote at the polls due to religious beliefs

Due to the Labor Day holiday day, the  state primary absentee ballot application deadline is 5pm, Friday, August 31, 2018.
