Friends of the Auburn Public Library Photo Contest

by | Sep 17, 2013

You can begin submitting those photos this week!

What’s your favorite spot in Auburn?  Have ever snapped a great pic in town?  Like a rainbow over Dark Brook Reservoir, a maple tree in brilliant fall foliage, or three feet of snow on your lawn?

It’s time to show off these great shots in Auburn Public Library’s “Beauty of Auburn” photo contest.  You can submit your pictures to the library lobby on the following dates and times:

September 18th 10am-12pm

September 19th 10am-12pm, 6-8pm

September 20th 10am-12pm, 4-5:30pm

September 21st 11am-1pm

The contest is being sponsored and organized by the Friends of the Auburn Public Library.  There is no set entry fee, but the Friends request a small donation for each submission.  All proceeds go to support the library.  Please note that only original work will be accepted.

There will be a final judging and display on October 3 from 6-8pm at the library.  Prizes will be awarded to the winning entries.  There will also be refreshments served.

So now is a great time to sort through all those pictures on your phone, camera or hard drive.  Pick your favorites and show them off!  For more information, visit the library website at or call (508) 832-7790.
