Not Difficult

The Great Way is not difficult for those who do not pick and choose.

By Jianzhi Sengcan

Bells ring;    we bow and get up,
we bow and sit quietly,
we bow and walk,
we bow and eat,
we bow and work,
we bow and sleep;
we dream.

Settling in to each breath

Carefully tending to daily activities

Just receiving

Living each heart-moment as it comes

Not clinging to preferences, all at once, difficulties vanish.  Attaining the freedom of The Way, living your life as it is.

No big deal.

When sick, just sick; when healthy, just healthy.

When sad, just sad; when happy, just happy.

Where is the difficulty?

Thank you,
