Worcester Youth Orchestra’s Annual Family Holiday Concert

wyo-santa-customWYO’s most popular concert of the year happens on Sunday, December 18th at 3:00pm at Mechanics Hall in Worcester. Celebrate with family & friends the festive sounds of the season.

Featuring the WY Symphony Orchestra, WY Philharmonic & String Orchestra, WY Wind Ensemble & WY Jazz Band with special guests The Shepherd Hill Regional High School Choirs and WCMS Neighborhood Strings Program. New and familiar favorites will get you singing along with these talented students.  This concert is proudly sponsored by Fuller Automotive of Auburn.

This year, WYO is offering new reserved table seating, which includes a 3-course meal, wine and other beverages.  VIP Table Tickets are $15 for children, and $35 for adults when purchased in advance. Balcony seating start at $15,  children are free.

The Worcester Youth Orchestras were founded in 1947 and are currently in residence at Auburn High School. They present 25-30 concerts a season in and around Worcester, including at Auburn High School. More than 200 children participate in the 4 orchestras, wind ensemble, jazz band and chamber ensembles.  Jonathan Brennand is Artistic Director and Executive Director of the WYO.
