Virginia M. Micolites,89, went peacefully home to the Lord on October 20, 2013. She currently resided at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster, MA where she was treated with loving care and dignity by the entire staff. This kindness will never be forgotten by her entire family.
Virginia lived most of her life on Manor Road in Auburn. For many years she would winter on the sun kissed beaches in Florida. These times brought her happiness and abundant memories which she would often share at family gatherings. Her advice was, “Enjoy life while you can!” And she did just that!
Virginia was a devoted daughter to her mother and father, Edith (Laprade) and Joseph Trainor. Her loving husband, Edward Micolites, died in 2000. She leaves behind two cousins, Harvey Evans of Newton, MA and Pat Mitchell of PA. Virginia also leaves behind her devoted caregiver and faithful friend, Paul Blais of Auburn. Paul and Virginia spent many years in each other’s company. They enjoyed dancing, ice skating, dining, and made many wonderful memories together. Her two nieces, Pat Anderson of Auburn and Sue and Joe Moscoffian of Dudley also wish to thank Paul for his devotion and years of commitment to Virginia.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9 AM at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street in Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM in North American Martyrs Church. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
