Backyard Astronomy at the Auburn Library

The Auburn Library has received an Orion Starblast telescope donated through a partnership between the Auburn Rotary Club and the Aldrich Astronomical Society. The telescope will be available to Auburn residents for home use in exploring the skies. The Library has set up a web site with more information about the telescope, how to borrow it, and additional information about backyard astronomy. This Thursday, the library will hold a kickoff/introduction event this Thursday, February 11 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Merriam Room and outdoors (weather permitting). All ages are welcome to attend, and pre-registration is requested. You may register via any one of the following:
