Jewish Foodie Series on Challah Baking

by | Dec 30, 2015

Challah Baking with a Twist, part of Temple Emanuel Sinai’s Jewish Foodie Series, will be held on Saturday, January 9 at 2:00 pm.

Join Renee Malawitz and Danielle Lillenkamp and other baking enthusiasts to make your own delicious challah from scratch. As an extra ingredient, Dani will add a bissel (little) Yiddish baking vocabulary to the class. You will also learn to use this versatile dough for onion rolls, sticky buns and more.

Bring a cookie/baking sheet to take home your unbaked bread to bake. (wheat, eggs, dairy and non-dairy versions.) Recipes will be provided. The class will last 2-3 hours with a tasting party at the end of the class. A $5.00 donation for supplies is required. Temple Emanuel Sinai is the first driveway on the left on Whisper Drive in Worcester. To RSVP (by January 4) or for more information contact
