Auburn Fastpitch Girls Softball Holding Clothes and Toy Drive

by | Nov 24, 2015

Auburn Fastpitch Girls Softball for ages 5 to 16 is holding a Clothes and Toy Drive on Saturday, December 5 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Auburn High School parking lot upper entrance on Auburn Street (across from I-290 on ramp).

Auburn Fastpitch Softball is asking for new toys, unwrapped and unopened, which will be donated to Auburn Youth and Family Services. AYFS will provide these toys to local children in need for Christmas.

The league is also holding a Clothes Drive. Used clothing, jackets, linens and shoes are being accepted. The clothing drive will provide funding to the league to lower costs, provide hardship scholarships for children to play softball and purchase new equipment. Clothes in good condition will be donated to charities but clothes in any condition will be accepted.

Auburn Fastpitch Softball is the oldest league in town dedicated to girls youth softball. Visit or on Facebook for more information about the league and their efforts on and off the field.
