‘Glamour Girls’ serve up hits from the 40s through today

‘The Glamour Girls’ make their first appearance in Auburn at the Pappas Recreation Complex tonight. The performance begins at 6pm, with a rain date of Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Performing the most popular dance hits from the 40’s through today, ‘The Glamour Girls’ is fronted by three talented singers.  They perform selections ranging from 40s swing and The Andrews Sisters, to the late 50’s and early 60’s sock hop, to the Motown/soul era, to the disco dance hits of the 70’s, to the pop/rock chart-toppers of the 80’s and 90’s, to current hits of the 2000’s and today. Artists covered include The Andrews Sisters, The McGuire Sisters, The Shirelles, The Marvelettes, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Sister Sledge, Gloria Gaynor, Madonna, The B-52s, The Bangles, Adele, Beyoncé, Katie Perry, Rhianna and many more.

‘The Glamour Girls’ have shared the stage with Little Anthony and the Imperials, and Bill Haley’s Comets, and have worked with many other celebrities.
