About 2pm on Thursday, Auburn Police responded to a report of a man being threatened with a knife on Manor Rd.  When police arrived, they found a man had been cut on the hand, allegedly by a knife.

According to police, the victim said he had pulled over to look at a piece of furniture that was on the side of the road.  The suspects pulled up and demanded the victim move his truck, and one of the suspects got out of his car and approached the victim, threatening him with a knife.

The victim said he was able to fend off the male attacker, and then the female suspect got out of the vehicle and allegedly also threatened the victim.  Both suspects then fled in their vehicle.  The victim was able to provide police with the suspects’ license plate number, and the suspects were arrested by Worcester Police in the Grafton St. area a short time later.

The victim suffered a knife wound to his hand, and was treated at the scene.

Arrested were Steven Chioda, 28 and Aubree Gignilliat 24, both of Auburn. They will be arraigned Friday in Central District Court.
