Senator Michael Moore Honored By NEPBA

BOSTON – State Senator Michael Moore (D-Millbury), was honored on Thursday, March 12, 2015 by the New England Police Benevolent Association. Senator Moore, the Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security was recognized by NEPBA as Legislator of the Year for 2014. The group held an event at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel and Trade Center in Marlborough to celebrate.

“I was honored to be recognized by the NEPBA and I have enjoyed working with their representatives over the past six years, especially in my capacity as Vice Chairman of Public Safety and Homeland Security,” said Moore. “Our officers put their lives on the line every day for the benefit of the public’s safety and this is a group that is always hard at work for its members and is well respected in the law enforcement community”

The New England Police Benevolent Association is a non-profit 501(c)5 corporation that represents law enforcement professionals and their support staff. Other legislators who were honored include Senator James Timilty, Representative Hank Naughton, and Representative James Micelli.
