Chinese Culture presentation and performance
Monday, March 23rd at 1:00pm
For 5,000 years, Chinese culture—which valued honor, etiquette, wisdom, sincerity, and compassion—has inspired countless artists and poets. In recent decades, however, this treasured heritage has almost been completely destroyed through campaigns like the Cultural Revolution.
Shen Yun Performing Arts, a non-profit organization based in New York, endeavors to fulfill the mission of reviving this majestic tradition.
Our presentation will focus on Chinese history, its classical stories, rich traditions, diverse art forms, and Shen Yun Performing Arts. People in dozens of Senior Centers and libraries in the tri-state area have enjoyed our presentation. It provides a link among different peoples and offers insights into the traditional Chinese values of truth, compassion, loyalty, tolerance, and integrity—values we believe to be for all mankind. Please call to register at 508-832-7799
