Busy Week Kicks Off Holiday Season

by | Dec 1, 2014

A busy week of activity in Auburn kicks off what is the busiest time of year for many people.  With the Auburn Library renovations complete, the library has resumed a busy slate of activities, including a presentation on Thursday night titled “Quest for the Eastern Cougar” by author Robert Tougias.

On Wednesday, Dr. Francis DeFalco will host a workshop on “Handling Holiday Stress.”

Friday, Auburn celebrates its third annual tree lighting ceremony at 6pm in Drury Square, next to Auburn Fire Rescue headquarters.  There will be cocoa, cookies, singing, and a visit from Santa.

Saturday features St. Joseph’s Church Annual Christmas Bazaar from 9am to 2pm at the church.  And on Sunday, Pakachoag Church will host a Christmas party and gingerbread festival from 11:30am to 1:30pm featuring refreshments, music, and crafts.

You can always see a full listing of local events on our Community Calendar.  Here is a listing for the coming week:
