Auburn High Evacuated – Declared All Clear

Auburn High School was evacuated this morning after an unspecified threat was received.  The threat came in about 9am, and was later reported to be a bomb threat.  Auburn Police, Auburn Fire Rescue, ATF, FBI and the Mass. state police bomb detection units responded.

All students and faculty were safely evacuated to the Auburn Middle School.

At about 10:30am, Auburn Police reported the building had been searched and that no devices had been located.  Students were going to be allowed back into the building “shortly.”  Law enforcement officials are continuing to investigate the threat.
