Escape the Pike is announcing the opening of its newest escape room game, “Merlin’s Vision.” The room, designed to simulate a castle environment, features a hand-painted window, custom stonework, hand-carved carpentry, and original artwork.  Booking for “Merlin’s Vision” will be available to the general public in October.  Players may test themselves to beat the game and escape the room in sixty minutes.

The business opened with its first game, “Podunk” on June 1st of this year.  To date, over 150 groups have challenged their ability to find the hidden objects contained within its rooms, as well as solve the puzzles and follow the clues which comprise the game.  “Podunk” affords customers the experience of stepping into a multi-room bunker that is absent of electricity but ripe with prepper ingenuity. The effort made to combine an authentic feeling to the space with unique and clever challenges has been rewarded with over 40 five-star reviews and recommendations.  Escape the Pike’s newest room offers customers a different experience than “Podunk” with the same attention to detail.

Stepping into a world created by Merlin to test their aptitude and abilities, players who enter “Merlin’s Vision” will find that it is absent of keys and padlocks.  Technology is utilized to offer a magical quality

and illusion to the game; one that will challenge each person’s perception and interpretation skills. With large rooms and PG-rated content, “Merlin’s Vision” provides an escape room option for families with older children; something uncommon in the escape room industry.  The story line of the game recalls the familiar tale of King Arthur and Excalibur.

The business is located in the same building as Teddy G’s Pub & Grille, across the street from JC Penney, at 179 Main St. Sturbridge, MA.  It is open every day from 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.  Players may call (774) 241-0508 or visit www.escapethepike.com to learn more and book games.  Escape the Pike can also be found on Facebook and Instagram.
