The public is invited to participate in World Tai Chi and Qigong Day on Saturday, April 27 at Elm Park in Worcester from 10am – 12pm.  On the last Saturday in April, hundreds of cities in over 70 countries participate in World Tai Chi and Qigong day to promote the healthy, healing benefits of these ancient martial arts. 

This is a free educational event designed to bring people together across ethnic, racial, religious and geopolitical borders in celebration of personal and global health and healing. Tai Chi has been show to boost immune function, reduce depression and anxiety, mitigate chronic pain issues, improve balance and dexterity, lower blood pressure, and even improve sleep, according to a Harvard health study. 

The World Tai Chi Day is free and open to the public. This is an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly.
