Percy’s of Worcester, a locally and family owned appliance store, celebrates 93 years in business with the renovation and updating of over half of the 14,000 sq. ft. showroom. The extensive transformation includes two working kitchens with live appliances, which will be used when Percy’s holds events and demonstrations for the community. To better serve the customers, the store has been updated and revamped to include the newest products from the best appliance brands, and patrons can now interact and see what products would look like in their own kitchen. The new space blends feelings of home with an air of luxury. The store fulfills consumers appliance needs while keeping the personal touch that big box stores always seem to lack.

During the remodeling, Percy’s has worked with several other local, family owned companies to achieve their goals. When asked about the renovation of Percy’s, Alan Lavine, Vice President, has this to say: “We are a local business that’s all about the customer. Appliances constantly improve and upgrade, and so we do too.” While always remembering where the store began 93 years ago, Percy’s is consistently working to improve and advance.

Percy’s staff’s product knowledge is exceptional, and in turn, lets Percy’s give the customer unparalleled service.. “Our goal is to make the consumers time at Percy’s as easy and enjoyable as possible. We want to bring our community together for events and occasions, and make everything about appliance shopping less stressful. That’s what this renovation is about.” Nick DiBenedetto, General Manager says. The staff is always looking to better their knowledge, and the store has been so successful for so long due to the passion and commitment of the people who work there.
