Auburn resident  Niamh Toomey has been named to the Fall 2018 Dean’s List at the University of Maine, Orono. Students achieve Dean’s List by completing 12 or more credit hours in the semester and earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The University of Maine recognized 2,388 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the fall 2018 semester. Of the students who made the Dean’s List, 1,666 are from Maine, 669 are from 34 other states and 53 are from 25 countries other than the U.S.

UMaine is among the most comprehensive higher education institutions in the Northeast and attracts students from Maine and 49 other states, and 62 countries. It currently enrolls 11,404 total undergraduate and graduate students. UMaine offers more than 100 degree programs through which students can earn graduate certificates, master’s, doctoral or professional science master’s degrees.
