country. While Ally is also well known for her skills on the soccer field, she told Auburn Mass Daily, “I really like the atmosphere of track.”

By the time she graduates in June, Ally will have participated in indoor track for 4 years, track & field for 3 years, and soccer for 3. She holds the schools record for the 1 Mile in outdoor track with a time of 5:16. She said, “I intend to break the indoor record this season.” She also was a team member in the outdoor 4x4 relay team that holds the school record.

In what is a good lesson for other high school athletes, Ally reached out to several colleges about her skill set, and UMASS Lowell came up with an offer. She liked the campus and plans to major in health sciences with the intent of graduate school in physical therapy or occupational therapy.

Ally is also the vice-president of the Student Council at Auburn High and is an active member of the Leadership Team.

Ally is the daughter of George and Cathy Anusauskas. Her older sister Liz is a sophomore at UMASS Dartmouth, and her younger sister Sam is a sophomore at Auburn High.
