Lorraine A. Roy, 99, of Auburn died peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Auburn.

Lorraine was born, raised and educated in Worcester, the daughter of the late Alfred and Anna (Keating) Roy. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, and later worked for Timex Corporation and General Electric Corporation for many years.

She just loved the theater, music, and great books. She was also a loyal Red Sox fan, especially her hero Ted Williams. A faithful member of North American Martyrs Church in Auburn, Lorraine was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

Lorraine is survived by her nieces and nephews; Mark and Sandra Graham of Auburn, Deborah and David Putnam of Kansas, Kathy and Don Harvey of Maryland, Michael and Linda Roy of Maryland, Joanne and Pete Jones of Maryland, David and Margie Roy of Colorado, John Roy of Florida, and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Roy and his wife Virginia, and her sister Helen Graham.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lorraine’s family on Friday, September 7 beginning at 9:00 AM in the Chapel of the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Worcester.
