AUBURN – Mr. Paul P. LeClair, 91, of Auburn. MA. Passed away on Sunday July 1, 2018 at Sunrise Gardner Park in Peabody, MA. where he had been living for the past six months.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann with whom he shared 53 years. Mr. LeClair left high school in 1944 at the end of his junior year to join the Navy. He proudly served his country during the Second World War. After the war, Mr. LeClair attended Worcester Junior College and graduated from Northeastern University in 1953. He was employed for many years as purchasing manager for Lance Hudson. In 1998 the town of Auburn honored him with his high school diploma. Active in veteran’s organizations he was a past commander of the American Legion Post in Auburn and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also active in the Sportsman Club, serving as an officer for many years.

He is survived by several nephews and nieces; Thomas Coffill (Lynda) of Salem, who was his faithful caretaker for the past two years, Joseph Coffill (Deborah) of Lawrence, James Amaral of Pittsfield, Michael Amaral of North Adams, Joyce Wendling of Dalton and Linda Dinger (Thomas) of Cincinnati, Ohio, grand-nephew Matthew Goodreau of Albany N.Y and grand-nieces Morgan Hirsch, also of Albany, N.Y. and Alicia Graves of Pittsfield.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service which will be held in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Saturday, July 7th at 4 P.M. Visiting hours prior to the service from 2 to 4 P.M. Burial will be at a later date in Auburn, MA.
