HUDSON – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that the on-ramps from I-290 eastbound to I-495 northbound and the Route 85 Connector will be closed beginning at 10 p.m., Sunday, May 13, until 4 a.m., Monday, May 14. The ramp from the Route 85 connector westbound to I-495 northbound will also be closed from 8 p.m., Sunday, May 13, until 4 a.m., Monday, May 14.
These temporary overnight traffic impacts are necessary to allow crews and contractors to safely and effectively conduct milling and paving operations.
During these times, traffic that is seeking to access I-495 northbound or the Route 85 Connector will be directed to utilize I-495 southbound to Exit 24A (Route 20 eastbound).
Drivers who are traveling through these areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change.
