Margaret M. “Peg” (Coggans) Foster, 97, of Auburn died Tuesday November 7, 2017 in Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Worcester.

Margaret was born in Worcester daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (Dunn) Coggans. She graduated from the Worcester School System and later received an Associate’s in Business from Becker College.

Margaret assisted her husband Charles with the family business, Casson & Foster Photo Studio for many years. After retirement she lived in Florida during the winters and Vermont during the summer months. Margaret enjoyed playing bridge and square dancing through the years.

Her husband Charles L. Foster, Jr. died in 2001. She leaves a son Robert A. Foster and his wife Lynn of Auburn and Deborah E. Pickering of Uxbridge; three grandchildren, Glenn Foster of Auburn, Amanda and Jillia Pickering both of Uxbridge; one great granddaughter, Sarah Pickering of Uxbridge.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mrs. Foster’s family on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6-8 pm in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St, Auburn. Her funeral will be on Saturday November 18, 2017 with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10 am in North American Martyr’s Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Worcester.
