Auburn Police with the assistance of Worcester Police have arrested two people in connection with a stabbing at the Auburn Mall on Wednesday, March 22.

According to an Auburn Police statement, at approximately 7:15p.m. Wedensday,  APD officers responded to a reported stabbing that had occurred outside of the Auburn Mall. The victim had left the scene and was in communication with family members as he drove himself for medical attention.

The victim was located by Worcester Police Officers and was transported to UMASS Hospital on Lake Ave. where he was treated for two stab wounds.

The victim later told investigators that he had answered an online ad, set up a meeting and was then robbed at knifepoint after the two suspects entered his parked vehicle.

Using information provided by the victim along with video surveillance obtained from a business at the Mall, the investigation quickly focused on Eric Collette, 24 and Ann Delcid, 31 both of Auburn.
